I never venture into nature without my rocking chair in tow. I’ve rocked on the red cliffs of the Grand Canyon, on the boulders of Joshua Tree, and atop the Death Valley dunes. “Rock me somewhere,” I always think. “Rock me somewhere that feels right.” I am a photographer, a daughter, a partner, a friend, but first and foremost, I am a storyteller and an adventurer, and nothing feels more right to me than telling stories through the images I create. Since a young age my Nonno always taught me ‘to see the tree, and to see the tree see me,’ and that is what I do through the lens of my camera. This connection allows me to capture the magical beauty of the natural world and the spontaneous way in which people interact with it.
